Science in Sport’s GO Hydro Plus Caffeine Tablets gives you exactly what you need for short, intense activities or just prior to the finish of an endurance event. Each tablet contains 300mg of electrolytes to replace what is lost in sweat with only 0.8g of carbohydrates and virtually no calories. Sodium is the most important electrolyte lost and if levels are not replenished, dehydration can occur and performance certainly drops. Additionally, 75mg of caffeine is added which helps increase endurance performance by providing a mental boost and improving alertness and concentration. Caffeine has also been shown to increase fat utilization for fuel effectively sparing carbohydrate stores for later use.

They simply dissolve in 500mL of water and can be used to hydrate and provide a mental kick before exercises or on rides under 90 minutes when caloric intake isn’t necessary. It’s recommended to add GO Electrolyte or GO Gel to your diet for longer rides.
